Ramu Productions is an Australian Indigenous owned and managed content production company based in Broome, Western Australia. We specialise in telling Indigenous stories through an Indigenous lens and pride ourselves on training and developing First Nations filmmakers.
Our main focus is documentary, but we have also produced drama and children's content and currently have an exciting and diverse slate of projects.

Jodie Bell
CEO & Ramu Producer
Jodie Bell is a proud Butchella and Jagera woman from Southeast Queensland and is CEO and Producer at Ramu Productions in Broome, WA. Jodie has produced numerous award winning short narrative and documentary films. Jodie has also produced two short documentary series’ for NITV. Jodie was Co-Producer on the award winning feature documentary “Putuparri and the Rainmakers” in 2015.
Divina McPherson
Development & Associate Producer
Devina McPherson is a proud Widi Yamatji and Noongar woman from Western Australia and has worked as the First Nations Executive at Screenwest for factual and scripted content, and as Series Producer and Production Manager at the Film and Television Institute (FTI), based in Fremantle. At FTI, Devina was instrumental in completing The Indigenous Community Stories (ICS) project, a hundred First Nations documentary films that went on to be broadcast nationally by the ABC, SBS and NITV, and also became part of the permanent exhibition at the WA Museum.
